Community Development National Team

YOU WILL make the difference!

We are the Community Development National Team of 2011/2012, which is part of the Study Association STAR. We will organize a number of events and projects for, and with the help of BA and IBA students to support the Rotterdam society. Students will get the opportunity to help their community. You are a volunteer and at the same time you will increase your personal development. We think everyone deserves a chance. You can make the difference!

Buddy project – you will become a buddy!

This year we will organize the buddy program again, because of the success of previous years! Our buddy project is a way to be in contact with children from the community. As a buddy you will support children to be motivated to study and get a better view of their future! This is a project for Dutch students since you will be become a buddy at a Dutch school.

Bizworld – You will challenge yourself!

Bizworld is our second project. With Bizworld, we want children to become familiar with economic terms and the business world. We have a very attractive and educative way to teach the children the tricks of the trade. In this attractive event, you will not only share and explain your knowledge, but you will also test whether you understand it yourself! Will you be able to explain the various aspects of entrepreneurship to children? Do you dare to challenge yourself? This project will give you the opportunity to do so!
