General description
Five times a year STAR Interface Magazine offers students, alumni, and employees of RSM Erasmus University interesting interviews with CEO's, politicians, and other fascinating people, in-depth articles about current affairs related to Business Administration and Economics, and more. Once a year, in October, a STAR Interface Special about the STAR Management Week is sent to all Business Administration and Economics students across The Netherlands to inform them about the Management Week and to give them a preview of the event.
The Interface is distributed to 6000 people. The Special of October is distributed to 25.000 people, including companies, embassies, alumni, university staff and other student/study associations.
Functions:
Editor in chief
Being the editor in chief means that you are responsible for the content of the Interface and you are the contact person for other who may have questions about this magazine. Besides content and contact, you are responsible for the writers and their motivation.
Editors
As an editor you are expected to work together with the Editor in Chief. You support him or her in guarding the magazines' quality. You will also write several articles for the different editions. Next to the editorial tasks the editors will be responsible for guarding the budget, contact with the commissioner of External Relations in the board and the development of the Interface writers.
Writers
Like the name says it, you will write for the Interface. Through brainstorm sessions with the other writers and the editors you will think of interesting subjects for RSM students.
