IT Team IT is of fundamental importance to any modern organization. At STAR, we also continuously face new and complex challenges in reference to addressing the various information needs. That is why, besides the fact that the board maintains a focus on IT (the Commissioner of Information Processes and Planning), an IT team has been launched as well. The members of the IT Team are primarily responsible for the correct functioning of all of the internal and external IT systems and services of STAR. Within this team, you will have a chance to learn about all facets involved in managing the IT infrastructure of a professional organization. Besides "hard-core" IT issues, you will also be challenged to think about the strategic and organizational impact of IT-related decisions. Does the idea of operating on the border between business and IT appeal to you? Then, this might provide you with the challenge you need! Role as a committee This committee is the center of the information flow within STAR. The members in this committee face the challenge of improving the processes and systems in this large organization which has to deal with many different stakeholders. In addition to troubleshooting, one of your main tasks will be to conceive of and develop new services. Functions Within this team, there are no specific functions and no maximum number of members. All team members have equal roles. Areas of expertise determine a person's projects/activities. Note: This committee is open to both Dutch and international students |
