 In a week the 22nd edition of the Race of the Classics will depart again. As we want to share the excitement of this fabulous event with everybody there is opportunity to board the partaking ships and meet the teams coming Sunday, April 4th, from 11.00h to 17.00h. Next to that there will be a market and plenty choice for a drink or a bite; in short a nice and relaxed way of spending your lazy Sunday afternoon. This event will take place in the picturesque harbour - Veerhaven - in Rotterdam. For those of you who wished they had joined the team as well - and of course all others - Team Erasmus University in collaboration with SSVR organizes a sports tournament on the 6th of May. The tournament is open for everyone to join, more info will follow soon! After the tournament we will show a selection of the best pictures that have been taken during the race along with a good share of stories that the race has brought with. --- Without water there would be no race. Team Erasmus University supports the WNF this year in its fight for more sustainable use of water to ensure sufficient amounts of safe and clean water for the future. During this magnificent event 22 classic sailing ships with students from different Dutch universities and study associations will sail from Rotterdam, to Belgium, the UK and back to Amsterdam. Team Erasmus University, supported by Study Association STAR, won the "Rees" last year. Currently, five enthusiastic students from the ROTC committee are trying their best to organise an event, at least as successful as their predecessors.
