The Activity Team consists of enthusiastic first year students, both BA and IBA, who would like to become active in STAR but not immediately want to start in a certain committee. You thus taste the atmosphere at the association and organise small events through the year. This allows you to develop your organizational and social skills and to determine what could be interesting for you to do the next year. Besides this, you of course get to know a lot of new students and enlarge your group of friends on campus.

As the Activity Team, you organise several small activities through the year. The group will be divided in two teams (who both can think of a name for their team), and each team will be given the responsibility to organize a certain event. The following activities are part of the Activity Team:

• Organizing the Christmas Dinner for all active members of STAR
• Organizing the Active Members Day
• Organizing the Active Members Weekend
• Organizing the Active Members Barbeque
• Organizing the Special Villa Night every first Wednesday of the month (The STAR drink in The Villa is every Wednesday, during the first of the month a special theme party is organised)
• Organizing the STAR Soccer Tournament
• Helping out other committees with their events, e.g. during the stand period of the Management Week, Erasmus Recruitment Days, STAR parties etc.
• And other...

Each time a group organizes an event, the members are divided over different functions (e.g. chairman, marketing, treasurer). This always gives the members a different learning experience and allows them to determine in what functions they feel most comfortable and would like to grow in.
