The beginning of a year is always a time to think about taking on new challenges and ways to keep developing yourself. At STAR we offer just that: a chance for you to develop yourself and have fun doing it!

This recruitment period STAR offers several exciting committees for which you can apply. Do you think you can give first year students an unforgettable experience at the start of their student life? Then join the STAR Introduction Days Committee (BA & IBA )! Or what about joining the STAR Agenda Committee , and being responsible for creating the annual STAR agenda, distributed to 5000 students! Want to do more for the community? STAR Community Development International Team is focused on cooperation with a poorly develop community by means of direct involvement of a group RSM students who are willing to share their skills in a real-life assignment.

STAR is also looking for ambitious students to organize this year's STAR Management Week ! We are looking for 2^nd year (or older) students that are motivated to work on the most diverse and largest event organized by STAR. Experience is not necessary. Do you want to:

Gain practical experience
Apply your knowledge and improve your skills
Get in contact with many global companies
Attract top international speakers to Rotterdam
Organize the biggest student party of the Netherlands with 5000 people
Manage a budget of over 110.000 Euro
Make seven new friends

Becoming active in STAR will provide you with an invaluable real-worldmanagement experience, which will answer the above questions. You will havethe chance to reach your best while you are a member of a lively and openorganization. While doing this, you will obtain a clearer picture of what youwould like to do after your studies. You can use your time in your committee tofind out your favorite role in a team.

How do you cope with the disappointments and expectations of others? Ofcourse, you can learn these kinds of life lessons in a sports club, a politicalyouth organization, or a fraternity.
