About STAR

STAR is the study association of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. With more than 6,500 members, STAR is Europe’s largest student ruled study association and above all the most active and professional study association in the Netherlands. Each year, more than 270 dedicated active members organize STAR projects that reach thousands of students.

STAR provides students the opportunity to get in contact with their fellow students, their study, and a broad range of companies. This is facilitated by the great amount of activities that are organized by numerous committees and Master Study Clubs. There are activities for both BA and IBA students in all phases of their study. The best known events are the STAR Management Week (SMW), The Erasmus Consultancy Project (ECP), and the Erasmus Recruitment Days (ERD). 

In addition to the academic and career activities, STAR also aims to arrange a broad range of social activities. Every Wednesday the weekly drink at the Villa Kakelbont takes place and every month an IBA social drink brings all IBA students together. Additionally, STAR organizes several parties where great DJ's will play like Laidback Luke, Shermanology, and Mightyfools that played this year at the STAR Lustrum Party.
