Bandipur Children Village
The Community Development International Team (CDIT) of STAR will travel to Bandipur, Nepal this year to help building the Bandipur Children Village.
The Project:
We will be part of a project, which will give 300 orphans a safe home. The village is located about 150km away from Nepal’s capital Kathmandu and will be built in the traditional style with bamboo and earth (Adobi). Therefore, it will blend with local architecture, but most importantly be earthquake proof and fully solar energy equipped.
Each house will provide a home for one family (8 children and one specially schooled mother) on the ground floor and support people and teachers living on the upper floor.
Help us fundraise the project and go on a three week journey to Nepal. It will be a once in a lifetime experience and we will make a great impact on the life of the orphans. Apply now to have a chance to make the difference!
