What
In the University Council, staff and students from all faculties come together – so the Council represents the whole Erasmus University community of thousands of students, academic staff and support staff. The University Council is kept informed by the EUR Executive Board and the Council’s consent is required in certain issues. Members are also encouraged to join task forces that align with their interests for topics such as diversity and inclusion, sustainability on campus or the HoKa budget for higher education quality agenda funds. The University Council will meet about 4 times each 6 weeks.
Why
Being elected to one of the Councils means your opinion would be heard by the university administrators as they develop policies and set the strategic priorities. Together we want to create a RSM STAR Election List in order to make a big impact and to represent the RSM student needs. As part of the University Council, you are able to have an influence on the EUR policy. Besides, you will gain a lot of experience through meetings with influential people, including the EUR Executive Board. You will also receive a monthly vacancy fee of about 125 euros to compensate for your work. Lastly, By being part of the RSM STAR Election List, you will have a large reach during the elections through our STAR channel to get votes!
The deadline for joining the RSM STAR Election List is Sunday 3rd of April 2022. The elections will be held from 16 May to 24 May 2022.
